Metallics at the Grammys

Unfortunately I missed the Grammys last night but made sure to check out the red carpet looks. And while I couldn't pick a favorite the dresses at the top of my list are all metallic. Taylor's Gucci dress was stunning, Ciara's Emilio Pucci dress made her baby bump look so glamorous, and Chrissy Teigen looked party ready in Johanna Johnson.

I first saw Amy Adams in The Wedding Date and I've been a fan ever since. I'm loving that American Hustle is doing so well (reviews, nominations, and wins) because that means she is hitting the red carpet and I'm always in awe of what she decides to wear aka the blue Antonio Berardi she wore at the SAG awards on the 14th. She's nominated for an Oscar this year [Actress in a Leading Role] so you can bet I'll be watching on March 2nd to see her [and a few others!].

I know the blogging world has been full of reviews, best+worst dressed, and favorites from this years Golden Globes but I seriously can't take how gorgeous Helen Mirren looked in this Badgley Mischka gown. Talk about a total babe. Could she look anymore amazing? And her hair ...
If I only I had the courage to chop all of mine off, totally the cut/style I'd want!

My love affair with Claire Danes first started when I saw Romeo + Juliet. 

And now I'm even more in love after watching Homeland. Have you seen it? Seriously, you guys, I'm addicted.

I had heard good things but never took the plunge then one low key Friday night with friends turned into a marathon.

I took a break after season one [literally it took over my life] but these winter months are the perfect excuse to jump into season two.

Because of my love I was so excited to see this new mommy and wife to a gorgeous man gracing the February cover of Elle.

If you are like me, and any other female blogger for that matter, you probably have a girl crush on Olivia Palermo. 

She is always stunning, has impeccable style, and ... ok really I want to be best friends with her. But honestly, who doesn't? One thing I've noticed about her is she loves a good statement necklace. Quite a few shots of her include a fun + pretty bib necklace layered over an amazing outfit. Above are just a few of the pieces I'm dreaming of.

Oscar Favorite: Michelle Williams

Award shows are on of my favorite things. 

I love to see who wins but I really watch for the fashion {I think this is what we all do!}

Last night there was no surprise that my best dressed was the always lovely Michelle Williams.

The color was amazing and the detailing of the bow at her waist was such a beautiful touch.

A Night In Nashville

The 45th CMA Awards were last night in Nashville.

All of the biggest Country stars were in attendance and I must say ....

TOTAL girl crush on Carrie Underwood.

Every dress she appeared on stage in was as good if not better than the one before.

It's almost sickening how that girl can make anything look good.
