The Temper Trap || Fader

I love The Temper Trap and this song is hands down my favorite.
It's the type of song that will get your foot tapping and shoulders shaking. Or in my case a full on dance party for one.
It's happy and fun and aren't those songs the best?

You guys. It has been 3 years since I've been to the beach. In my opinion that is WAY too long. Which is probably why I woke up this morning feeling like I needed to plan a vacation for myself. I'm not sure when I would even fit a trip in with all of the plans already on the calendar [weddings, weddings and more weddings] so until then these images will have to feed my need.

I was swapping good songs with a close friend when he suggested a song by Bastille, a group I'd never heard of. I was a little skeptical about what he was giving me. But was pleasantly surprised and now have a new favorite!

Girl Friends

Growing up I always had more guy friends than girl friends. But when I went away to college I met and lived with some of the coolest girls I've ever met and am now lucky to have them as my best friends. Today I'm reuniting with my 2 roommates [Darci and Liz] from senior year to get Darci ready for her big day! I'm so excited for the days ahead because I know they will be filled with late nights and early mornings, pampering and pictures, laughter and dancing, and of course, champagne!

This may be me admitting I'm way behind but did you all know Nikki Reed can sing? And that she is married to Paul McDonald, an American Idol contestant? Hm, who knew ... not me! They are cool and I'm kinda in love with them as a couple and want to be friends with them. Plus they sing together and it's adorable, seen here. Seriously, I want that in my life.

My Best Friends Wedding

Happy Monday!
Sorry for being so quiet last week. I was a little under the weather with a serious head cold + sinus thing. In other words I couldn't breathe and was totally miserable. Lucky for me the weather in Cincinnati was a rainy mess this weekend which was perfect for getting lots of sleep and well, doing absolutely nothing!

Since there hasn't been much happening in my life I thought I'd share a few snapshots from my best friends wedding I mentioned here. I didn't get a lot of shots on my phone but I was able to get a ton on my camera.
