Mara Hoffman is a genius when it comes to fun prints so a few of her items are on my wishlist right now. Like this fun this shift dress [perfect for a shower, wedding, date night or even just a day out with the girls], this weekender, the cutest mini dress, and this high waisted swim suit [top, bottom].

I love how versatile this leather skirt could be and that it's a little edgy while still being 100% girly.  I think I'd wear this with about everything: t shirts, sweat shirts, chambray (like above), heels, sneakers, sandals ... and the list goes on!

The official debut of the bright and bold collection from Peter Pilotto for Target is right around the corner. You'll be able to shop the line in stores this Sunday, February 9th. There are more than a few items that hit outside my comfort zone but I am loving the fun colors and bold patterns. You can check out the entire look-book and pricing here and see the individual pieces here. I definitely plan on picking up at least one of the bathing suits! They have the one above in a black and white pattern. So cute and will be perfect for my beach trip in May! Fingers crossed I can find it!

And at only $90 I'd definitely get my money's worth!

Flannel has always been a staple in my closet, especially when the weather gets cold. There seems to be endless color combinations and all of my favorite stores have them in stock, which is perfectly okay with me! When I saw this dark green coat I instantly thought of layering it with a red and green flannel. Making this the perfect pairing for a day of Christmas shopping with friends or by adding a little sparkle your all set for a fun little date night or even a casual holiday party!

I love when Target brings in a new designer line, although I have a feeling my bank account does not.
And the Phillip Lim line (now in stores) definitely does not disappoint. These are just a few of the items I have my eye on and first on my list are the french terry sweats, almost positive I'd live in these.

I've always been a fan of mixing navy + black and love that it is popping up more and more. I usually lean towards more of a bluish navy instead of a darker shade that might look more black. I think that is the is key when mixing the two colors, you want to be able to see the contrast and not have people thinking "did she think that was black?" or "did she think that was blue?" Which is why the knotted panel dress from Zara is the perfect shade of navy. And how fun is the detailing in the back!

I love Madewell. I love the clothes, the bags, the shoes, the accessories ... ok, ok, everything! But what I love the most is the actual store itself. The design and styling of my local shop is always on point. From the vintage soda bottles to the huge leather tufted sofa, it's a place I just want to go to hang out [or maybe live in if it was allowed]. Each piece feels like it belongs there and it leaves me wanting to spend more money than I probably should. It's like you walk into a store and it just feels ... perfect. Have you ever experience this or am I alone?

So of course after visiting the store over the weekend these two beauties are at the top of my wish list.
