While browsing the internet this weekend I stumbled upon Benevolent Jewels, an online jewelry shop that offers an insane collection of beautiful baubles. This is a shop I wasn't familiar with so I did a little clicking around and found out that the shop was started by Michelle Trejo as a way to do what she loves and have it support different organizations and their missions. Which is why every three months 20% of the profits are donated to a new philanthropic organization. Pretty cool, huh.
  I already have these earrings and this necklace in my shopping cart and with the holidays right around the corner this shop is the perfect place to stock up on statement pieces for parties and gifts! So make sure to head over and shop!

Hands down Electric Feel by MGMT is one of my favorite songs.

And then while watching The Voice I saw this performance by Preston Pohl. 

His voice is amazing, a gritty Michael Bolton if you will [let me know if you agree!]. 

And now I can't decide who does it better! But really, it doesn't matter because they can both be my favorite!

Well friends, it's safe to say that life got in the way last week and had other plans for me.  It wasn't any thing too serious but I have been resting up and working on getting back to 100%. A huge thank you to my parents for taking care of me. 

And I promise to be a better blogger now that I'm back, I've missed you all dearly!

It's the Weekend!

Hey Friends, remember me?
Sorry for the silence this past week. Being away this long was definitely not in the plan but turns out I have been a little busy because MY BROTHER GETS MARRIED TOMORROW! Can you tell I'm excited? I have two older brothers and Cory will be the first so this is a very exciting time for him, myself and my whole family. Having two old brothers meant I'd eventually get a sister and finally, tomorrow is the day! Sara is seriously the cutest and coolest girl and she loves my brother like crazy [and man does he love her] which is the most important thing I could ask for.

So I'm off to celebrate a little love!
