With all this snow, ice and below freezing temperatures my mind can't help but look for signs of spring and this beauty does just the trick. The bright floral print has me dreaming of a tropical get away to a place where the sun is shining, there isn't a cloud in the sky, and I'm lounging on the beach with a good book and a cocktail.

Metallics at the Grammys

Unfortunately I missed the Grammys last night but made sure to check out the red carpet looks. And while I couldn't pick a favorite the dresses at the top of my list are all metallic. Taylor's Gucci dress was stunning, Ciara's Emilio Pucci dress made her baby bump look so glamorous, and Chrissy Teigen looked party ready in Johanna Johnson.

It's the Weekend!

I know that it's winter and it's supposed to be cold [at least in Cincinnati] but I'm 150% over this weather. I wouldn't usually be such a baby about it but seriously? Negative numbers? Not only is that crazy but also, I'm freezing! And I know there are places like the northeast and Chicago that have it way worse than I do but after the last couple of winters being so mild I was definitely not prepared for what mother nature brought this year. Because of that I thought I'd make this weeks 'It's the Weekend!' post as happy and as bright as possible. Especially since the weekend forecast is more snow and I will need something to cheer me up!
