I'm sure I'm not alone when I say that the last few days have been spent wrapping away while enjoying a few of my favorite holiday movies [Elf,  Home Alone, Christmas Vacation], spending some much needed time with friends and family, and of course eating way too much yummy food mixed in with delicious cocktails ... The holidays really are the best!

Closet Craving || Clean Duffle Coat

Flannel Shirt $29.95 || Skinny Jeans $39.95 || Cognac Bootie $179.95 || Clean Duffle Coat $178

Flannel has always been a staple in my closet, especially when the weather gets cold. There seems to be endless color combinations and all of my favorite stores have them in stock, which is perfectly okay with me! When I saw this dark green coat I instantly thought of layering it with a red and green flannel. Making this the perfect pairing for a day of Christmas shopping with friends or by adding a little sparkle your all set for a fun little date night or even a casual holiday party!

Tuesday's Tune

 Last Friday Cincinnati was hit with some pretty serious snow, enough for my work to close early. When I got home I found both of my roommates also home from work early so we decided to have a snowed in movie + wine night. Because the snow had us in the holiday spirit we decided to watch The Holiday. You might recognize the song above from the very last scene. You know, this scene where they all lived happily ever after and spent New Years Even together in London.

Beautiful Bauble

 I first spotted this beauty while walking through the mall with my sister in law. it had been placed on a mannequin in the window of my local Limited store and let me tell you, it is beautiful! And with all of those upcoming holiday parties it's the perfect piece to add to a fun party dress! Did I mention it's also currently 40% off? Because it is! Such a steal at only $36!

Cory + Sara || A Beautiful Wedding

It's hard to believe that two months ago today my brother married the love of his life. How is it possible that two months have gone by already? So crazy! In honor of their two months together I thought I'd share some of my favorite moments captured by their amazing photographer Jose Mesa of Jose Mesa Photography. You can check out his blog post here for more pictures! And if you are in the Cincinnati area and in need of a photographer, check him out!

Wish List: Birthday + Christmas

No.1 || No.2 || No.3 || No.4 || No.5 || No.6 || No.7 || No.8 || No.9 || No.10 || No.11

Since my birthday is just 3 weeks before Christmas I usually provide my family with one wish list.
Above are the items I'm hoping for this year. My number one would have to be the Canon printer, I use a Canon t3i and I REALLY hate going some where to print off pictures [such a process!] and having this at home would eliminate having to leave the house [I'm lazy!] and make my new goal to scrapbook more a lot easier and more obtainable.

Hopefully I've been a good girl this year and Santa takes care of me!

Twenty-Eight Today

Today I'm twenty-eight.

so the plan is:
working a half day
 hanging with the boyfriend
eating lots of yummy food [he's a chef!]
 drinking nothing but bubbly
watching Elf.

Best day, EVER.

Tuesday's Tune

Sometimes I put my iPhone on shuffle and just let the music go. This usually happens on the days I can't decide what I want to listen to or when I'm cleaning my room which is what I was doing last night. And there are always those songs that no matter how many times you hear it you never grow tired of it or just love it that much more. For me this is one of those songs.

Hi friends! I feel like it has been forever and well, that's because it has! I'm so sorry for being away for so long. The last month has been a bit of a roller coaster ride due to an unexpected surgery, a few nights in the hospital and 2 weeks of recovery. I'm on the mend, finally back to work and getting back into my old routine. Which is a godsend since I realized I'm not one to lay around and do nothing. Cabin fever definitely set in after about 3 days which lead to watching the whole second season of Nashville, catching up on a few movies that were on my list, finishing two books and starting Eleanor & Park [so good!]. Had I been able to get up and move around I would have been working on the many projects I have piling up!

But now that I'm back I promise it's for good and I'll never leaving you all hanging like that again!
